Procrastinating

I still have many things to accomplish this week, and here are the ff:

-finish the audio visual presentation for my high school batch (to be passed on Tuesday)
- review for Psychology 101 midterm exam (this coming Friday)
- make a reflection paper for H-101 (to be passed on Tuesday)
- prepare an informative speech in E-102 (to present on February)

But instead of doing them today, what I did was this...

...smiling in front of the webcam and being vain the whole afternoon.

At least I've finished my laundry this morning. I have uniforms and training attires to wear this coming school days, so as my younger siblings.

Oh well, I guess that's the only good thing I did today, this Sunday. Still, I feel like I've wasted a lot of time.

Life is more fun with them!

Was with Danica & Andrea at KFC that time. Decided to make a GIF for something new to see on my blog.

A horrible night experience.

I'm blogging tonight using my phone while traveling home. It's hot inside this jeepney and we're like canned tuna at this moment, plus it's already TOO LATE IN THE EVENING, yet it's still traffic!

Going to my main story, an hour ago, after our training, Jaki and I stopped for a while in a convinience store to buy snacks so that we won't feel hungry while we're on our way home. Then, we waited at the pavement for a jeepney ride. As we're standing there impatiently and eating, a street boy suddenly appeared! I was suprised because the next thing that was happening was that the boy forcefully grabbing my food, which was 'siopao' and begging to have Jaki's ice cream! I was having second thoughts, but he already got my food and Jaki's, so I have no any other option but to let that happen. But it was horrible! I thought I was being robbed that instance!

I felt really pissed! Good thing it's just the food that we surrendered and nothing else.

Thanks to God for still keeping us in good condition until this very moment.

Amen.

Just grateful!

Today was a hectic day for many reasons...and at different times today God brought just the right person along my path to say just the right thing to get me through the moment...or even bring me a refreshment and a smile. (Thanks friend!) It was a day God knew exactly what I'd need, and when I'd need it. It's actually like that every day...I just can so easily slide through and not realize it. That's not to say the day was terrible, or to say it was fabulous... I'm just saying there's a grand holy unbelievably amazing God who is watching out for me...and for you. On those days when it may not feel like it, remember the days that it does. Today was one of those days.

Several songs have been playing through my head today: Domino, Beautiful Soul, Something that I want, I see the light ... just to name a few...

What song helps get you through the day? The good and the bad days... I'd love to know...

#simplehappiness

... Is when I can blog wherever I am, whatever I do,and no matter what time it is, with the use of my phone and without needing wi-fi :)

Why haven't I thought of this before?

I could not believe myself

I don't usually bring my make up kit in school, because I really don't apply some when it's just an ordinary school day, plus, I don't want carrying a heavy bag around. But now! Just now... I'm trying to figure out how to fit it inside my bag so I can apply a little amount on my face and do a retouch when I want to.

I don't know, I feel like pampering myself lately.

PS. I only apply light make up, a natural look as possible.

6 hours of training

I had a good start with my Monday! It was productive because of the pep squad. If I were not a member of the team, I might be a fat lousy lady who doesn't enjoy herself by this time being fit, and not to mention., SEXY! (oh yeah!)

Kidding aside, our cheerdance competion is very near, it will be held on February 25, 2012 and everyone of us are getting ready for that event. Finishing the routine, improving our skills, exerting more energy are just the few things we do.

And now, I'm on my way home with my pepmate, Jaki, who lives in the same city. Feeling exhausted, yes, but it doesn't matter for it can be restored.

That's all for this evening. Good night!

PS. I'm blogging using my phone :)

Is there a way ...

to make my upper arms smaller?

I've been doing exercises to make them thinner (both left and right), but it seems like nothing is happening, and it frustrates me.

Any tips or advices out there?

Thank you!
Gotta be me. It's who I am.

Before I leave the house I would like to leave something.

"We should show/see ourselves smiling at least once a day so that we could see the real beauty of life" -Rhadson Mendoza :)

Hi there! I've been blogging here since the moment I woke up. Today is just a bright and beautiful day and it gives me a good vibe!

In just a few hours, I will be meeting my dad’s friend to hand over something, so by this time I should start preparing myself to leave.

And to you, dear reader, enjoy the rest of your day! I hope you're feeling jolly like I am right now!

:*

Recent discoveries about myself:

1.) I love watching BEN TEN TIME MACHINE (so much that when someone will change the channel I'll immediately get mad!!!)

2.) I'm an obsessive compulsive person (maybe because I organize ANYTHING too much).

3.) It takes me 2 hours just to settle a perfect layout for my blog (seriously, just done one today).

4.) I'm starting to be a shopaholic (for clothes and make-ups! YIKES!!!)

5.) I'm starting to cram doing my assignments and  review for quizzes/exams most of the time (I'm not like this when I was in highschool)

6.) I'm obsessed with Jake Gyllenhaal <3

7.) Now I weigh 92 lbs.

8.) Lastly, I always end in this number :)

Good morning!

So, I am trying to get a new blog design going here. Just a little something different. But somehow in the midst of it, I've trashed the content part - part of which is not allowing for comments. That stinks. I like your feed back. It's a part of connection I guess. So, thanks for your patience as I try to figure this out. I know - I'm a techie wanna be - and there are days I am better at it than others - today is not one of those days.

8 minutes...

I have 8 minutes until midnight and sure want this posted before the clock strikes twelve. OK, so I don't have a clock that will strike twelve, but it'll be midnight either way... Eight... Eight... Eight... Here we go.

EIGHT things I did today:
  • 1) Slept until about 2 am... =)
  • 2) Crammed reviewing for my midterm exam today
  • 3) Arrived home at exactly 12PM
  • 4) Ate Tuna Pasta for lunch (mmmmm... delicioso!)
  • 5) Laundry
  • 6) Disappointed some people that I surely didn't want to disappoint...
  • 7) washed the dishes after having dinner
  • 8) Blogged tonight

EIGHT things I DIDN'T do today:

1) Review for my midterm exam tomorrow
2) Finish my assignment in NSTP
3) Attend E-102 Class
4) Eat rice
5) Make a real dinner
6) work out
7) Dust... I really need to
8) Finish this list...

Whew... two minutes to spare... Hope today was a great day for you... What did you do?

It's a little surreal...

... that I'm sitting outside the porch, looking at a sky full of stars, and I'm posting a blog by using my phone. I can't be the only one who thinks... Wow. That's crazy. I think we continue to take for granted the technological advances. Just like we take for granted the star-filled sky overhead. To say this sky is beautiful is an understatement. To say it is awe-inspiring is not enough. To say it is mesmerizing is true but not close to accurate.

Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens. Your faithfulness to the skies. (Psalm 36:5)

For as amazing and big and vast and awe-inspiring and mesmerizing and beautiful this sky is... God's love is bigger. And just when I think I can focus on how big it is, God's love is bigger still. And then you think of 1 Corinthians 13 that says Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude or self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always trusts, always protects, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Then... I think about it again but every time I say the word Love or It, I put in God's name... Or Jesus' Name... And then I stare up at this big ol sky and go ... Wow!! Thanks God for loving me this much. Thanks for loving me regardless, in spite of my faults, through good times and bad...and so on.

Maybe you can go take a peak outside tonight or tomorrow night and catch a glimpse of how big the sky is...and how big His love for you is... It's a lil surreal...

Superstition.

I guess I'm starting to believe the speculation that whatever happens to a person on the first day of the year or every January 1st, it will repeatedly happen to him/her until the year ends.

Why?

It's because when the firecrackers were already illuminated in front our house, which bought by my parents from the market, at exactly 12 midnight, something strange hit my left knee and it started to bleed. I figured that it came from the firecrackers for I'm obviously near those. I was hesitant at first to believe that this circumstance would occur to me again not until another week had passed and something horrible turned out with my left knee for the second time! I slipped on the wet pavement in town and got disgusting bruises. It's not yet healed until now nor the first incident, and I'm not letting this happen to me for the third time!
