I should have listened to them

A week not blogging? Oh come on! I missed this.

My summer vacation is really that busy, we travel here, we travel there. It's just so fun. But now i'll be staying at home for some while now and enjoy watching TV shows (just this summer) not until April 23  :)

I feel so regretful with what my mom and my grandma keep reminding me:

"Wash the dishes first before you use the computer/laptop!"

(sigh.)

They were so right, very right. I've learned this lesson a hundred times, but I just keep doing this over and over again. I didn't listen. And I can't bring back the time now-- as many say, the time where I should have obeyed what they have told me.

Now, my right hand keeps shaking even if I don't want to. It trembles anytime it wants and I don't want this to happen TO ME. In Tagalog my hand is Pasmado.

arrgghhh... Is there a solution for this to stop?

It's time for a check-up.

"If it isn't broken, don't fix it." It sounds innocent enough, but I've been thinking about this phrase for a few weeks now and how misguiding it can be. Are we really supposed to wait until something in our life is broken before we fix it, before it gets some attention or maintenance?

I don't understand how some people can find this mantra to be valuable. With such a mindset one is expected to believe that the world will take care of itself and there's no need to step in and take action until something is wrong. What does such an attitude say about one's:
friendships
marriage
health
house
vehicle
(insert something really important to you right here)
?

We need to care for and be good stewards of all that we have. This means constantly working and striving to keep it at its best. It's much easier and less costly (financially, spiritually, physically, and mentally) to maintain something over the course of its life than to clean up its broken pieces. Yes, that does mean work, but the downside of letting anything valuable in our lives slip through our fingers is that it is not guaranteed that it will be able to be fixed or replaced should something damaging happen to it.

Just saying.

A Manic Monday!

Thank God, He is still beside me to guide and remember all the lessons that our teacher had discussed to us a few days ago, (sigh).

I have two Math subjects, they are College Algebra and Calculus. The subjects for today's exam are MAPEH, ENGLISH, and CALCULUS!

Speaking of Calculus, I had a mistake of what subject to review yesterday. I was thinking that it will be Algebra today so I reviewed it. Not remembering that it's suppose to be Calculus. Gosh! I started to panic that I might not remember everything that was tackled, and I haven't memorized parabola yet, which is the hardest part of the exam. But I didn't lose hope. I know I can still answer the items with all my stock knowledge. And Fortunately, praise the Lord, I was able to, (sigh).

I wasn't that stupid at all :)

What Sepak Takraw did to me

It was PE class. We went to our school's court to play any sports we wanted.

Mervin, Kent and I played Sepak Takraw.

I felt so arrogant because I'm good in playing that sport. I can serve, receive and do other techniques! I acted like a boy (since 5% of the ladies in school can only play that).

Suddenly ..................

The wooden ball hit my upper lip!

Ouch, it hurts! It was bleeding! It popped and hurts more than when I bit my lips before!

Luckily(gasp), It was only them two who saw me ------and those 60 junior students (starting to low voice and reddened)---- and those other students at the court and at the second floor!

Gosh! It was so embarrassing!

I will never play Sepak in public again!

Another lessoned learned :D

My Reckless Mother

No. It's not what you think when you read the title.

This was something funny!

My mother and I are so close with each other. We usually talk about everything we like to share. There was this time when mom was driving while chatting with me including my two younger siblings. I was beside her. We are going to the hardware.

Suddenly, all of us went up and down and my ass hurts! Mom's busy talking to us and so are we, we noticed after the incident that there was a hump on the road. It wasn't painted so we hardly see even our eyes are focused on the track. We started to laugh hard! I don't know but it's sort kind of fun!

ok, I'll skip the part with having a business at the hardware. We're going back to the track we passed a while ago. This time we were all silent. Mom's eyes are focused on the road...
... Here we go again, we went up and down and for the second time my ass hurt again!

We laugh and laugh until I said, "Gosh mom, you missed that again. You're a reckless driver!"

And that's how it ends.
