"Today I Don't Feel Like Doing Anything, I Just Wanna Lay In My Bed"

The moment my coach announced that we'll have no training tomorrow and this coming Monday in our pep squad I was so glad! I even wanted to shout on top of my voice "HOORAY!!!" but I couldn't because he might change his mind. So I just blushed in one corner. At least I am given a chance to sleep longer this weekend because I badly need it. Sleeping 4 hours every night really sucks! My eyes automatically close when I'm already in class, and I hate that feeling! Plus, I can do on the following days tons of my assignments that are to be submitted next week.

sigh.

I thank God for the good news, for my safe travel going to school and at home, for my health and for the abundant blessings I keep receiving from Him every day of my life!

Oh, it's 11:40 in the evening again. I should go to sleep now.

I'll talk (blog) more tomorrow for you.

P.S. I keep thinking about this guy before I go to sleep. I hope I dream of him tonight. He just doesn't know how I love him so much! I can't wait for the day I can hug him tightly.

Ok, I said too much. Good night, world!

Good night, world

Do I look fine?

I lack sleep because of tons of school works I finished last night and up to this time.

So, there, I'm taking a rest now. All of you take care okay?

Do you have a problem? I know you can solve it. Even I give my opinion on how to overcome it, it is still you who is going to decide for your own.

Good night.

Fail photo!

This is me. I was at our porch doing some stunts. When the time I asked my sister to snap a photo while i'm doing one, it turned out to be a failure. LOL. The picture you see here was when I'm doing a front walk.

I didn't ask to take another picture because I can hardly balance myself anymore. maybe I'll show you a perfect one soon.

Have a nice Sunday!

Note to self: Buy flat school shoes next time :)

LOL!

Did you know that I walked at the footbridge of Ateneo and Miriam last night with my barefoot? It's because I can't walk with my heels anymore :p

Good thing, the concrete is always clean.

A miraculous Tuesday!

I usually set my alarm clock at 4:15 in the morning every Tuesday and Thursday. Since its Tuesday today, I should be awake at that time. I heard my phone alarmed, I already opened my eyes, but I decided to close them for a few minutes because I still feel so sleepy for I just slept at 12 midnight. As I opened my eyes again, I thought 5 or 10 minutes only passed, and then when I checked my phone it was already 5:30 am! I was like, "Oh my, Oh my!!! I'm going to be late. I should be at the terminal this hour!!!"

I hurried myself to take a shower and dressed quickly because I want to travel to school as soon as possible. I know that if I don't leave immediately I might caught by the traffic jams along the way. While traveling, I prayed hard to God to make a miracle today that there is a possibility for me to be there on time.

I arrived in school at 7:47am, and I was already 17mins late. Fortunately, the professor hasn’t checked the attendance yet, so when I was there already I was not marked late.

I felt a relief, and I thank God for this. He is so good!

P.S. This is the also the very first time that I have not eaten my breakfast in my college life. I just sipped an energy drink before I fully left the house.

Untitled Tuesday

Sorry. I can’t think of a good title for this post. My brain is already drained from all the activities in school.

To start my story, we had our PE 101 class this morning. The topic was all about First Aid. The teacher asked us to share some incident of us getting injured. Since I never really had major injuries, I didn’t share anything to the class so I just listened to my fellow classmates who had. As I was paying attention, I couldn’t stand some of their stories because they were so disgusting! I felt like my stomach was twisting while hearing those sickening experiences they had. There was one student who shared to the class that her eyeball was scratched by someone who had a long nail and it was so excruciating! Another one said that she had an open wound and her muscle tissues were exposed! Those are just few from what I heard, and I can’t really stand those kinds of stories because I’m not used to.

I felt comforted when the period was over.

Our next subject was Algebra. It’s my favorite math! Last meeting, the professor gave us an assignment and I abruptly finished it when I arrived home, for I know very well how to solve the problem. But before we enter the class this morning, my friends asked me to help them finish their own assignments for they have no idea how to solve the givens. Instead of revealing my own work to them, I helped them by tutoring my classmates. I made sure that they comprehend what I was teaching splendidly so they won’t ask me again next time. And eventually, they knew how to answer the assignment. I felt so proud because most of them counted on me.

Also today, I have a runny nose. I always bring my own handkerchief with me everyday wherever I go. And I knew I won’t be having trouble searching for tissues to wipe my nose. It just so happen that I lost my handkerchief when I badly needed it and I don’t know what to do. The class is ongoing and I can’t excuse myself that’s why I have no choice but to sneeze it in my hand! Gross! But don’t worry I washed my hands as soon as the class was over. LOL! It was my first time in history that I lost my handkerchief. It was so depressing.

After the last class, I proceeded to where the PEP SQUAD held the meeting. It took an hour before we were dismissed. Then it was time to go home.

While walking with a friend going to the Jeepney terminal it suddenly rained so strong! Alas! Fortunately, I also bring a small umbrella with me everyday wherever I go. So we stopped in a corner to wait for the rain to be gone. While waiting, we saw a street vendor selling fish balls. We decided to buy some. It was a long time ago when I last bought some because I am taught by my parents not to buy that kind of food for health reasons. But it was really yummy to chew and eat it.

When the rain finally stopped, my friend and I proceeded walking. We suddenly felt thirsty along the way so we searched for another vendor who sells gulaman (a unique Filipino beverage).

Unfortunately, we couldn’t see any. Instead, we spotted another vendor who sells palitaw (a small, flat, sweet rice cake eaten in the Philippines. They are made from sticky rice, washed, soaked, and then ground. Scoops of the batter are dropped into boiling water where they float to the surface as flat discs - an indication that they're done. When served, the flat discs are dipped in grated coconut, and presented with a separate dip made of sugar and toasted sesame seeds.)

And finally, before we have our ride going home, we saw a small stall that sells gulaman. At last, we were rejuvenated from our dehydration!

It was 6pm when we reached the jeepney terminal. And because it was a rush hour we couldn’t find a jeepney with a right route going home. And when we found one, many other people needed it too, so we all hurried to step inside the vehicle for us to have a place to seat. And do you know what’s thrilling about that? We always experience stampede at the entrance of the jeepney because we all wanted to go home as soon as possible. My friend and I are always lucky because we are small and it is easy for us to push people and squeeze ourselves inside. And tadah! We have a place to seat!

It was a very fun day. My friend and I really enjoyed the simple lifestyle of a Filipino!

Phew, I still have classes tomorrow at 10:30am so I am greeting you all good night!
Muwah!
I will surely ride a helicopter tomorrow to avoid traffic jams. I am near being late most of the time.

- because I hate running around the corridor and look stupid to other students.

The Jeepney Journey

Have you ever sat beside a passenger who’s also a student and doing his/her assignment while you’re on your way to your destinations? Have you experienced a girl’s hair brushed against you because she didn’t pony tailed it, and worse when the gush of the wind is strong? Have you tried sleeping inside the jeepney or sitting beside a carpenter who is snoring? Have you passed a passenger’s fare to the driver or the conductor or vice versa when he/she has a change?

And most of all, have you been with different people, with different attitudes and statuses in life in one transportation for at least an hour inside a JEEPNEY?

Me, I did. And I do experience these things everyday whenever I go to school and going back at home.

For the sake of others, Jeepneys are the most popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. They were originally made from US military jeeps left over from World War II and are known for their flamboyant decoration and crowded seating. They have become a symbol of Philippine culture.

There are other options in choosing public transportations for a ride to your destination. You can ride on a bus or an FX and they are more convenient because you get to sit well and they are well air conditioned. But the fares are not as cheap as the fare in a jeepney. But for me I prefer riding it because I can save more from my allowance, but it doesn’t mean I am poor and I can’t afford the fare of the other public transportations. Anyone can ride a jeepney, even the richest person in the world can, maybe because I have my own reasons that I couldn’t explain well to you. All I know is when you’re inside that vehicle; passengers are seated facing each other while traveling. And while you’re on your journey you get to notice something, and it can turn out to something you can share in this blog.

I will never forget June 9, 2011

It was supposed to be the 2nd day of classes in college. I don’t have a dorm so I just commute back and forth to school and home. It was even raining that day, but since it was not signal #3, college students still have to attend classes.

I was inside a public vehicle, jeepney to be exact, going to school. I was almost there when my course mate sent me a text message telling me that the classes were suspended. Geez! Few kilometers and I were there! I freaked out! Imagine, you woke up so early to catch the 7:30 am class, you already traveled almost an hour and spent money for transportations then you’ll receive something that would disappoint you. I sighed. I have no choice but to go back home and spend another fee for my transportation.

It was not a good day after all

I miss this

It's been a while not blogging here. And I can say that I miss this, you know, telling you how was my day.

Yesterday was my last day in baking class and I just received a certificate from that school. It was an achievement! I learned a lot from that class and I can apply those at home when visitors come or when we put up a business, obviously, it could be a bakery or a cafe. I know I lacked sleep from those times, but it all paid off. It's a wonderful experience. I met new friends and had the confidence to show them what I can do :)

If you want to see those photos from our baking class, you can always view my facebook account.

This is all for now. I really need to sleep longer. I feel so weak right now for having 4 hours of sleep for 5 consecutive days. It's all because of the travel and no break hours.

let me remind you that 4 days from now will be my birthday and I'm turning 17.

Good night!

Morbid Monday!

I felt mortified in front of the whole student body today. Early this morning we had our rehearsal for our field demonstration. There's a dance number that 10 selected students from each year level will be introduced and dance for that number. I wasn't chosen by my adviser because I was absent the day she had listed the students who will participate.

I felt bad because I always wanted to join the final dance of the program and now I wasn't included. This was supposed to be my final year performing in ALLS.

Not until my adviser approached me and said, "Why don't you join the final dance? Go ahead and join." My mood brighten up when she said that. But I still felt the worry that I may not be allowed to dance because the  number of the participants in the senior year will exceed. She asked others to join as well. I was so happy she lets me dance.

Then the practice started. The seniors were introduced through the microphone. The 13 of us were standing on stage. Other students from different levels were watching us as well to see the dance number. Suddenly, our directress counted us. Oh, no! I knew this will going to happen. She said she only needed 10 and the 3 other students have to back out. But i don't want to back out!

No one wants to leave and the directress was madly waiting for us. I swallowed my pride and stepped back and went down the stage.

It was such a shame!

But I have to be fair. It was my fault also because I was absent the other day when they were looking for participants.

So, I let this happened. Geez!

Good thing it was replaced by a very nice compliment from a teacher regarding my performance and my good grades in school. All the bad vibes easily gone away.

I still thank God for this.

Amen.

Have got so much to update bout.. All I need is more time..

September 18, 2010 (Saturday)
I had my entrance Examination in Ateneo de Manila University today. It was kinda easy and hard. There were at least 20,000 examinees who took the exam this day, and there will be more tomorrow. It was so traffic before you reach home, and I was able to eat my lunch around 2pm. I'm so exhausted and tired, and it made everything worse when the sun was extremely high while I'm stucked in traffic. I got home so brain dead and I have to rest, but I can't please my body to, but my mind was so tired that if it has eyes it would cry out of madness. Then I decided to open the computer and start blogging again. By the way I have to start reviewing again for my exams this coming Monday up to Wednesday in school, but I feel tired so maybe I should start tomorrow.

September 19, 2010 (Sunday)
I think there will be a problem in studying. I haven't memorized parabola yet. In the morning I have to clean the house because dad is arriving. maybe by afternoon I'll have that little chance to study. At night we'll going to pick up dad at the airport by 9:30 PM. He had mentioned that he wanted to have dinner at the restaurant, so let's say we'll be staying there for an hour . That counts as 10:30 PM. He also wanted to visit duty free and buy something there. Let's say another one hour, so it's 11:30 PM. It takes two hours to arrive home. Oh gosh! It's my examination day that day! I'll have a short sleep. I have to wake up by 5 AM. I hope I can prepare well.

September 20-22, 2010 (Monday to Wednesday)
Goodluck to me! It's my examination day. I hope I can cope up with the first day.

September 23-25, 2010 (Thursday to Saturday)
It will be our Intramural! At last, I don't have to study for those days. We'll be playing all day long. Oh, and on 25, the championship day, It's going to be our cheering competition. I hope we win!

September 29, 2010 (Wednesday)
Oh no! Another examination again! It will be our NCAE (National Career Assessment Exam). When will I have my full rest? Tambak na ako ng aktibidad!

Oh well, the rest of the day will be in a regular schedule Not until I reach October 2 for myexamination in Miriam College.

That's how you define a responsible student :)

P.S. Dad will be staying here for a month. Love him.

Until I post another one again,
