Feel good, you'll look better

It is really true! When you feel good, like when you're simply in your comfortable clothes or you aced an exam or just having a good mood, you are absolutely going to look better! If so, don't miss the chance to take a picture of yourself wearing your bright smile. Just like what I did! I believe that it helps to remind me why I should always keep my mind positive everyday. You know, self-motivation.

So, if you want to look young and vibrant just like me, you should also start being optimistic, and the rest will follow.

Try it! Optional, but highly recommended ;)

Before I leave the house I would like to leave something.

"We should show/see ourselves smiling at least once a day so that we could see the real beauty of life" -Rhadson Mendoza :)

Hi there! I've been blogging here since the moment I woke up. Today is just a bright and beautiful day and it gives me a good vibe!

In just a few hours, I will be meeting my dad’s friend to hand over something, so by this time I should start preparing myself to leave.

And to you, dear reader, enjoy the rest of your day! I hope you're feeling jolly like I am right now!

When you get sad,

It means that you have experienced to be happy

Saturday, July 9, 2011

I value small things

Look at the pink figure at the picture (please don't mind the stains), it was actually a drawing of Jamie Solano, one of my best friends. She sketched and colored a happy character in a sticker paper, cut it and placed on my filler notebook.

I suddenly remembered and missed her when I looked at the art work. I never thought I already kept that for almost two years now, and I still use the filler notebook up to this college days.

She's a very brilliant person. She made a happy face of a girly bear because she knows that there will be a time in my life when I will feel down and lonely, and the figure could help me find a little joy by just staring at it for a few seconds.

Thanks, Jamie. I hope you'll be able to read this and send me a message. I miss and love you!

Exhausting Wednesday!

This morning we sell last minute raffle tickets to the elementary students so it would be sold out.
As we reached their rooms, many grade 4 students were already waiting for us to buy those tickets.

While collecting their payments and waiting for their stubs I asked Janred to bring out his digital camera and take pictures of what I and the other officers are doing.

The pupils saw the gadget, and because they are KIDS,  they started to compress and  pushed themselves just to be included in the picture. It was like a stampede, but they were all happy and smiling so widely. We all had a wonderful group picture together, and because of them the tickets were sold out.

We were able to earn 1,500.00 pesos today, plus the money we earned last Monday and Tuesday. amazing, huh? But we were so haggard and sweating out going to different rooms just to sell those tickets, not to mention that the sun is up so hot.

After achieving making the raffle tickets sold out, we started fixing our booth, ours is Marriage booth.

In order to wed couples, other students will list their friends' names and who they will be wed with. Then the Marchall, us, have to find, chase and catch them in order to bring them to our booth. But that was never been easy. They will hurt you, bite you, make themselves escape in order to be free from us and won't let themselves get married to the one they are partnered with, especially when they hate that person.

It was so exhausting! My black shoes were also destroyed because of the never ending chase with those crazy students. Phew!

At least it was enjoying!

Oh, and, this was the last they of the booth fair and will be the last time for us seniors to have this kind of event. No more like this in college.

I'm going to miss this fun and adventure!

Must be the wackiest day of his life

Hello there!

Starting yesterday we had our booth fair in our school as one of the activities  for the celebration of  the school's anniversary. ALLS is turning 19!

and our section was assigned for the MARRIAGE BOOTH.

I didn't have any photos from yesterday's fun and excitement, only today. And I was so glad I have captured happy faces. Just like the grade 4 student below. I forgot his name. I only knew him as "Trudis". Anyway, I took pictures with him because he's so cute, bubbly and FUNNY.

I asked him if he could take a picture with me. At first he was shy, then he finally agreed. He can't have a formal picture because he's laughing (: He still looks adorable though.

I guess this kid is a joker. Making wacky shots (:

Finally, we had a proper picture together. I love this kid!

Morbid Monday!

I felt mortified in front of the whole student body today. Early this morning we had our rehearsal for our field demonstration. There's a dance number that 10 selected students from each year level will be introduced and dance for that number. I wasn't chosen by my adviser because I was absent the day she had listed the students who will participate.

I felt bad because I always wanted to join the final dance of the program and now I wasn't included. This was supposed to be my final year performing in ALLS.

Not until my adviser approached me and said, "Why don't you join the final dance? Go ahead and join." My mood brighten up when she said that. But I still felt the worry that I may not be allowed to dance because the  number of the participants in the senior year will exceed. She asked others to join as well. I was so happy she lets me dance.

Then the practice started. The seniors were introduced through the microphone. The 13 of us were standing on stage. Other students from different levels were watching us as well to see the dance number. Suddenly, our directress counted us. Oh, no! I knew this will going to happen. She said she only needed 10 and the 3 other students have to back out. But i don't want to back out!

No one wants to leave and the directress was madly waiting for us. I swallowed my pride and stepped back and went down the stage.

It was such a shame!

But I have to be fair. It was my fault also because I was absent the other day when they were looking for participants.

So, I let this happened. Geez!

Good thing it was replaced by a very nice compliment from a teacher regarding my performance and my good grades in school. All the bad vibes easily gone away.

I still thank God for this.

Amen.

Jamie Solano: Her Happy Feeling

So Glad ... Inside ... that little flame of hope in my heart, blazing bright in me, drowning the darkness, Hope ... I've finally found you ... faith ... thank you for helping me find hope ... the world ... so full of life ... I don't need to be always in front of the computer ... I'm sure "He" is praying for me ... I know I can and will meet him, so, I can help him in return, to help him as he helped me ... to share a conversation face to face, to share the light of hope ... If I study hard enough, I will find you, I'm always here to listen, as the clouds drift in the clear blue sky and the moon that shares its warm moon beams at night ... always here, listening ...

I know that he doesn't mean to hurt me ... I know he loves me and I love him ... I'll be waiting ... right here, waiting for his return ... I know now ... I'll be alright for I am loved ...

thumbs up for my friend! She's good in expressing her feelings.

I decided to post her notes I saw in her paper she owned.

P.S. I asked permission if I can post this. She allowed me :)

LIFE: Spilled-Out

Recently, I had reason for some introspective pondering of my life.

My life is an explosion; loud and noisy, spilling-out, messy, overflowing. Not for me are the neat and tidy compartmentalized segments of life, carefully not touching, easily moved out of the way until their proper time to be displayed.

My activities spill over into my family time, my school work , church work, my family crosses lines with my activities and church until it's all blended and interwoven into one vivid, exciting, abundant life.

What does your life look like?

Define 'Happines'

I am going through some of the hardest days in my life. Days that I didn't see come. Days I didn't plan for. Days I haven't thought of alternatives or ways to overcome them. They say that something good must come after a lot of bad, and I await passionately and anxiously and also willingly with a smile to see what is next.

I am excited about what is next.

I know what is happiness.

I know where is happiness.

I have found happiness.

Have you?

Why do I feel stupid when I'm around him?

(gasp)

I have this blooper at the OPEN COLLAR. But this is not the only time that happened to me. It's almost like everyday when I am around him.

At the open collar an officer approached us and said, "When we call the family and love ones you can go near them and open their COLLARS."

That's a simple instruction, right?

Now It was the time to go near him (Mayo), I am so sure what to do. Suddenly, my mind was so mixed, like I forgot the whole thing. My excitement came over me. I'm running to go near him. Searching him in line. And there, I saw him.

Yeah, so I was near him now, So close.

I'm taking off his scarf!

He said,"no, not there. Here in front. Open one button in front, MY COLLAR."

Oh yeah, His COLLAR. Not the SCARF. Stupid!

What the heck am I doing?! Gosh, I was so embarrassed!

***

The other embarrassing moment is when he asked me if I know how to sew, and I said YES. He asked me to sew his cloth and I started sewing it in a sewing machine. I am wondering why it's not working, Then I saw the machine was unplugged! Stupid!

second was when we were at the restaurant, he wrote something in a small paper and made me read it. It says, "Can you duet with me later at the cruisin' song?". I thought it was really for me then I replied, "Sorry. My voice is very bad"

He said, "I'll give this letter to the lady at our back because she has a beautiful voice. Is my message alright?" Shoot! Another stupidity.

lastly, when we travel outside he can see me from the center mirror of the car that my mouth is open when I'm sleeping at the back! geez!

If I were him, I'm already turned off!

waaaahhh... Mommy! I wanna cry! I'm so stupid!

A Good Start!

I thought there's no hope for IV-EQUALITY to win the jingle making contest. I can't believe we placed champions! I'm glad about the good start for our section.

I hope this event will be significant enough to be inspired for the next activities in our school.
I hope next time my section will cooperate more than well.

We also won two entries for the BIGGEST AND HEAVIEST FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.
Our banana and apple are chosen.

Hooray for IV-EQUALITY! Hooray for everybody!

Sci-Math Club

My whole week was so tiring! I have plenty of assignments, researches, and other stuffs about school. Plus I have to get ready for my exam at the University of the Philippines, this August 7, 6:30 in the morning, located at the MATH BUILDING.

Well, what do I expect? I am a student. A very responsible student (joke!).

I missed everything. Reading books at night, blogging everyday, jogging, My crush, and many more!
Since school started I seldom read my novels, workout in the morning, and do what I like to do most----BLOGGING!.

Mom, she said that I am only allowed to open the computer from Friday- Sunday. That time is too short to do everything I have in the internet world.

But I guess it is much better. Since they always tell me so.

Here's the latest thing about me. Last Monday or Tuesday (I think) there's an announcement that students having 88% grade and above can join the 'science-math club'. I did.

This time I had a place where I can be elected as an officer. I didn't win ALLSSO last time (remember?) and so are my two best of friends. But in this club, The president is Dela Vega, Lacap and me are the vice-presidents.

YEEPY! I was so happy--- happy for them and for myself.

This is also a history, Since I entered grade 1 from that school they never had any student clubs. After 9 years, Finally the principal approved one of our platforms. Plus, me and Lacap are the first ever vice-president elected in that club, inside that school.

So this is how you feel when you're the first ever in something.

There will be another club next week to join, Fil-Eng club (Filipino-English). I will attend that. They say that we're going to create school papers and do some photography. I never done that in my life. Maybe even my last year in that school I can enjoy it.

It was successful then.

P.S. I joined the ADG (ALLS DANCE GROUP)

Happy Fathers' Day

"To my dearest dad who is far away from me, Thanks for all the support you give me. I appreciate those things for me. Sometimes when you come back I'll chat with you for longer."

I've discovered something about my dad too! I think I inherit his hobby to make schedules of whatever he is planning whether it is a big or a small occasion. Like for example you're planning what to do with that whole week even if you know things will be changed when you're already in that day. We're same. Totally! I found it because I have seen some of his notes from an envelope he left here at home.

Miss you dADDy, A lot!

Sophia's 1st Birthday!
