Procrastinating

I still have many things to accomplish this week, and here are the ff:

-finish the audio visual presentation for my high school batch (to be passed on Tuesday)
- review for Psychology 101 midterm exam (this coming Friday)
- make a reflection paper for H-101 (to be passed on Tuesday)
- prepare an informative speech in E-102 (to present on February)

But instead of doing them today, what I did was this...

...smiling in front of the webcam and being vain the whole afternoon.

At least I've finished my laundry this morning. I have uniforms and training attires to wear this coming school days, so as my younger siblings.

Oh well, I guess that's the only good thing I did today, this Sunday. Still, I feel like I've wasted a lot of time.

How are you, blog?

When was the last time I posted an entry here? It seemed like a month had passed already, although it was just few days ago.

Anyway, my week was full of a lot of assignments to do, reports to prepare, and deadlines to meet, plus the time I spend having my training at the pep squad. I'd never been so stressful before. I've been lacking sleep consecutive days already and the result is I look older than what my age should really tell other people who see me.

I admit, I feel so anxious most of the time. I do everything just to finish all my jobs before the deadline to get high grades and be a dean's Lister, to have a good reputation in and out of the school, and to never fail the expectations of the people who knew about my capability.

It's hard, I know. I even attempt to give up several times, but it never happened, and thank you for that. I'm still this person/ student who strives harder to achieve a lot of things I want, to make my family proud of me and to reach my goals.

Aside from all the school works this week, I had my recollection last Friday. I was so blessed to attend that activity because I know God wants me to spend my whole day with Him. I felt renewed and spiritually heeled from all the sorrows I had in my life. I always remember Him every day and every night, and I know He is always by my side to always reach out.

The following day, Saturday, was the final examination of all first year students for their PE subject (I was exempted in that exam because I am a varsity, and varsities do not have to to attend that subject). They were graded with their cheerdance presentation and it was also a sort of competition w/ the other sections. I didn't join my blockmates because I danced at the opening w/ the pep squad (boy, I'm too proud to brag about it!) Not only that, my section was announced as the champions! That was equivalent to a perfect score for their final exam! Hooray for them! hooray for us!

The Pep Squad

My champion blockmates!

Everything paid off knowing that news. Saturday was just the day for fun and merriment!

Oh, and have I told you that within those challenging days, there is always this one person who adds strength in me? He used to tell me that I'm strong, that we're both strong, that we can accomplish all the work given to us because we can. I love that boy so much. Too bad, we're both apart and busy with our own businesses. But that's okay, there will be a day that we'll meet and enjoy each others company  in wherever place we plan to go. I'm already happy to know that he is happy with all the activities he does, and the little time he spares to update me with his day.

It feels so good to be inspired--- to be in love with the guy who cares for me even without any words unleashed from his voice. I can strongly feel that in my heart *blushing*. Sigh. I can't wait for that special moment of my life :)

It's late in the evening again. I'd better be in bed now.

Good night, world! Let's always pray to have a better tomorrow!

Fail photo!

This is me. I was at our porch doing some stunts. When the time I asked my sister to snap a photo while i'm doing one, it turned out to be a failure. LOL. The picture you see here was when I'm doing a front walk.

I didn't ask to take another picture because I can hardly balance myself anymore. maybe I'll show you a perfect one soon.

Have a nice Sunday!

Church is cool!

My family and I went to the church to attend mass. I was very happy in the morning because of the priest’s story in homily. He was narrating to us a wife who just got home from church and learned something new from the priest who led the mass earlier. She approached her husband and said, “Honey, the priest said that there is no marriage in heaven, that when we die. We won’t recognize each other anymore. It’s sad to know.

The husband laughed and faced his wife, “Why yes, honey! If there is marriage in heaven, it won’t be heaven anymore.” He paused. “You know. It will look like hell.”

Everybody inside the church laughed at the story. Many agreed because their understanding would be that those wives will never stop nagging their husbands even they are already in heaven. Heaven will still be a headache for the men.

And there was another one.

One day the priest asked a male college student why he didn’t choose to be a priest like him. The guy said, if he’ll be a priest, he won’t be able to marry a woman. The priest agreed with his answer and walked away. He found another person to interview, this time it was a female. He asked her, “Why didn’t you choose to be a nun? Being one of the sisters is not hard. All you have to do is pray inside the convent. Why?”

The female answered the same question like the first one. “Simple, if I’ll be a nun I won’t be able to marry a man.”

Back to the mass, the priest we were that moment pointed to the nuns beside us and said, “So they don’t have a boyfriend, do you, sisters? Or was that a lie?”

We laughed again for the second time.

The priest said something after that but I failed to hear it. All I heard at the last was, “Don’t worry, sisters. When I die and didn’t see any good looking man in heaven I will haunt you and tell you to date one, so you can experience how it’s like to be, right? Not bad.”

For the last time, the crowd laughed again. I laughed too, because they were laughing.

We ended the masses with smiles on our faces.

Sunday!

My family and I went to China town today with Janus. Yes, it's Mothers' day today, But no, we didn't go out to celebrate. We went there to buy something we need for our catering. After we had bought everything on the list we stepped inside the car. How sweet of Janus when he gave mom and grandma a rose and greeted them this event. He's so thoughtful!

At the end of the day he greeted me too! But it wasn't about being a mother.... "Happy GRANDMOTHERS' DAY!", he said as I close the gate when he'll leave. Haha, I laughed!

Last but definitely not the least, we bought a french poodle. She was named 'babe'. She's small, white, and cutie.
